Looking to volunteer where you can have fun and make an impact in your community? Every volunteer hour with your local Discovery Shop frees up more resources for advocacy, research, and patient support programs to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families.
We need reliable volunteers who are motivated by the American Cancer Society mission and ready to be an integral part of creating an inspiring retail experience for all of our customers. We’re always looking for just the right social bee, organizational genius, amateur stylist or social media whiz to volunteer with us. We are here to help you find a role that’s just the right fit so you feel confident and at ease while you’re making a positive impact in your community.
Typically our volunteers offer their time for one to four shifts per week. With 30-50 volunteers needed to run one location for a year, we can always use the gift of your time. Reach out today to find out how you can support your local Discovery Shop and how together we can support our vision to end cancer as we know it, for everyone.
To sign up as a Discovery Shop Volunteer, please visit our Volunteer Community and select "Discovery Shop" from the program filter.
